Jamie hall from Morpeth is planning to take part in this years Junior Great North Run to raise money for charity.

Just after Jamie's 6th birthday he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma and after intensive chemotherapy he has now been given the all clear.

12 year old Jamie along with a friend will take part in the 4km race on Newcastle Gateshead's Quayside, where Jamie aims to raise money for the charity Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
